Terms of Service
1. Who we are
Seraph Interactive, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation registered in Wyoming. We produce original animated creative work and coordinate volunteer and professional contributors who help make it. These Terms of Service explain the rules for using our website, our community spaces, and any tools we provide.
By visiting our site, creating an account, or taking part in our community in any way, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site or join the community.
2. What this project is, and isn’t
Seraph Interactive is an independent nonprofit production company. Our work is original and not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or produced in partnership with any other company, franchise, or existing commercial product, unless we say so explicitly in writing. Nothing on this site should be read as a claim of official status or partnership with anyone.
3. Who can use this site
You need to be at least 13 years old to create an account or contribute in any capacity. If you’re between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you’ll need permission from a parent or guardian to take part in any contributor role. We may ask for confirmation of this at our discretion.
4. Accounts
If you create an account with us (for example, through our identity system), you’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for anything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think your account has been compromised.
We can suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms, our code of conduct, or that we reasonably believe are being used to cause harm to the project or other people involved with it.
5. Community conduct
Everyone taking part in this project, whether as a contributor, community member, or visitor, is expected to treat others with basic respect. We don’t tolerate harassment, hate speech, doxxing, threats, or attempts to use community spaces to distribute harmful or illegal content. Anyone who violates these expectations may be removed from community spaces and have their account terminated, at our discretion.
6. Contributions
If you contribute creative, technical, or other work to the project (art, code, writing, sound, or anything else), your rights and obligations as a contributor are governed by our separate Contributor License Agreement (CLA), which you’ll be asked to review and sign before your work is used. These Terms of Service don’t replace the CLA. If there’s ever a conflict between the two on a contribution-specific matter, the CLA controls.
Simply browsing this site or holding an account does not make you a contributor and does not assign any rights to us. Only work submitted under a signed CLA is covered by that agreement.
7. Intellectual property
Everything on this site (text, design, branding, and any original creative material we publish) belongs to Seraph Interactive, Inc. or our contributors, and is protected by copyright and other applicable laws. You’re welcome to share links to our public pages. You may not copy, republish, or use our content for commercial purposes without asking us first.
We take intellectual property seriously in both directions. We don’t use, and we ask that no contributor use, copyrighted material belonging to others (including textures, characters, logos, or other assets from existing games or media) without proper rights to do so. If you believe something on this site infringes your rights, please contact us using the details below and we’ll look into it.
8. No warranties
This site and our community spaces are provided as they are. We do our best to keep things accurate and running smoothly, but we don’t promise the site will always be available, error free, or free of interruptions. We’re a small nonprofit, not a large company with a dedicated uptime team.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Seraph Interactive, Inc. and its directors, officers, and volunteers aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or participation in the community. Nothing in this section limits liability where the law doesn’t allow it to be limited.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time as the project grows. If we make a significant change, we’ll try to give reasonable notice, such as a note on the site or in our community spaces. Continuing to use the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Contact
