Seraph Interactive

About

Seraph Interactive, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation registered in Wyoming. It exists so that a film made by a community has something real behind it, somewhere for the rights to sit, someone able to sign a contract, and money handled properly.

Who decides

The community does. Direction goes to a vote, and the vote is the answer. A small core team runs production between votes, which means scheduling, review and keeping things moving rather than deciding for everyone. The board carries the legal and financial responsibility that has to sit with named people.

The point of the nonprofit is to protect that arrangement, not to sit above it. Nobody takes a share of this. Whatever the film earns (if it does) goes back into making it.

How the work moves

We move in passes. Rough it, review it, revise it, lock it. Drafts get posted while they're still ugly, because that's when feedback is worth anything. Once something is locked we build on top of it instead of reopening it every week.

Decisions get written down. Somebody joining next year should be able to find out why a shot looks the way it does without asking six people.

Who's involved

A growing community on Discord, a small founding team, and a board that handles the legal side. Names go here once appointments are settled. If you need to know who you'd be dealing with before that, ask.
