Our community gathers in Discord. Participation may take the form of discussion, disagreement, or simply reading along. Each of these is welcome.
Contributing Without Animating
This project requires many kinds of contribution:
We recognize thoughtful participation in voting as a contribution in its own right. Disagreement is expected, and we want to hear it.
How Participation Works
Show up
Join the Discord and share your perspective: feedback, questions, or concerns.
Choose a role, or none
Contributors may take on a role when ready. Choosing not to commit to one is equally valid.
Vote on everything
Directors are elected within their own fields, and final decisions rest with an odd-numbered group. Every significant decision is made this way.
This project represents thousands of hours of work across hundreds of contributors over time. What is decided today becomes the foundation for what is decided next.
What We Ask of Contributors
We ask that contributors consider context before posting, and take on only what they can realistically finish. This project is not threatened by incomplete ideas. It is threatened by work that is started, set aside, and never mentioned again.
